FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
5'9" tall, medium build. Has a neutral and relaxed body language, but can easily seem closed-off, unless he's very happy and relaxed - usually only with someone he knows well, or when intoxicated. Fairly deep voice with a Mancunian accent. Wears unremarkable, comfortable clothes, like button-ups and jeans. Somewhat lacking on the grooming front, with a short beard and messy hair. He's cleanly, and keeps his cottage clean, but often ends up smelling like dogs anyway. Underneath the scruff and the clothes, he's actually a pretty attractive and fit man.

HISTORY:
Developed his powers in his teens. Dropped out of school because it became too much, and ended up alternating between an entirely solitary life, only interacting with people on his computer, or going out to party and get drunk and/or high, sleeping with people he barely knew. He made money doing small-time drug-dealing.

In his early 20s he had a wake-up call, as he barely survived an overdose. He cut ties with everyone and became a truck driver for two years. After that he tried to settle down and have a relatively normal life, though he had trouble having any job that involved being around people. He's been working as a computer specialist for well over a decade by now.

He had a few partners, and most of them found him to be a very thoughtful boyfriend, before he got distant as he became overwhelmed, and was unable to fully open up to them. Instead he's ended getting more and more pets. Their emotions are simpler and easier to deal with, and their love unconditional.

Now he lives in a cottage in a small town near Manchester. He works almost exclusively online, as being among people drains him. He's known locally as a recluse and a bit strange. He's gotten overwhelmed in town a few times, though he's generally liked as he's always polite and considerate.
